School Self Evaluation (SSE)
Scoil Bhride is constantly evaluating how we do things and reflecting on what is done well and where we might improve. School self-evaluation is a collaborative, inclusive, and reflective process of internal school review. An evidence-based approach, it involves gathering information from a range of sources, and then making judgements. All of this with a view to bring about improvements in pupils’ learning. In short, SSE allows us to affirm and celebrate what we, as a school are doing well, identify areas for improvement, set targets for improvement and monitor and evaluate how successfully we achieve our targets.
We have chosen Wellbeing, Spelling and Digital Learning as our SSE for 2023-2026.
SSE is a 6 step process. We are currently on year 1 of the 3 year plan and on step 5 of the process where by we are putting our Improvement Plan into action.
