6th class visited Carbery in Balineen today and experienced STEM in action.
The morning commenced with a tour of the facility and the girls got to meet some of the females working in Carbery. They got a real sense of a day in the life at Carbery.
The girls explored the research and development lab which was followed by doing some experiments.
There was also a special Pizza Corner with Carbery’s own mozzarella cheese and a chef lined up to cook pizzas for the girls.
