Tys Internet Safety lessons
Ellen and Ava are TYS who came to our class and taught us how to be safe online. We had many lessons watching videos, doing fun worksheets and playing kahoot quizzes at the end. Ellen and Ava are such nice girls, we really enjoyed the lessons with them. Thank you!
SEAI Workshop
In April we went to a sustainability workshop to learn how to help the world. We learned about fossil fuels, greenhouse gas, global warming and lots more. We even did some cool experiments. We had lots of fun.
Swimming
On the 18th of April 4th class started swimming. It is so much fun. We enjoyed it soo much. We got much better at swimming. We are basically experts
Biodiversity Workshop
Aoife Deane taught us about Biodiversity and how we need to keep our planet clean. We also went outside and really listened to nature and birds. When we went inside we did some Oragami. It was amazing. Thank you to Aoife Deane
Sensory sculptures
We put together recycling materials to make sculptures (we even went through all the classes recycling bins!) It was really fun, we even did a fashion show at the end!
Book fair
We went to the cozy cafe on the 24th April. The cozy café is when we wear cozy clothes or pyjamas, have hot chocolate and go to the bookfair. It was really fun and we had a great time.
Beebots
We went to the school hall to use some beebots. Beebots are little bee robots that you can program to move around different little obstacle courses. They were really fun.
Active Schools Week is a week that encourages kids to be active. For active schools week we drop everything and dance, do hoola hoop challenges and meditation. We had a great week. It was really fun. Thank you to the Amber Flag Committee for organising.
