Engineers Week
3rd class have really enjoyed doing different experiments over the past few weeks learning all about STEM. Just some of the investigations we have done include conducting a slopes experiment, investigating different height slopes and what impact these would have on the distance a ball travelled. We also investigated a Walking Horse Paper experiment which the class greatly enjoyed investigating what surfaces and height angles would make the horse rock down the slopes. There was a lot of problem-based learning with the groups figuring out what height worked in both experiments. Two very enjoyable experiments with lots of inquiry-based, active and hands on learning.
