We have learned a lot this term. We've loved having the ipads to help with our learning. We learned how to use the app pic collage to share information about tower houses in Ireland. We have done some incredible Halloween and Space Art and some Halloween narrative stories which we are going to present to the class in the 'Artist's Chair' and 'Author's Chair'. In celebration of Maths week, which was on 12th - 20th October, we were playing fun maths games everyday. We also did a maths trail around the school and the village with 4th class. We were so lucky with the weather that day!
We were learning hockey and basketball drills for PE and we played lots of friendly matches. It was so much fun.
Slime, one thing that every child loves! They just love to make it. But have they ever made it in school? Well 3rd class made it in school, can you believe it? We can't either, we are so lucky!
Bonjour, comment ca va? Yes Scoil Bhride have been learning French in 3rd - 6th class. Our lovely French teacher is from France and she is so nice and teaches us so well.
For Halloween all of the classes put up some cool decorations. On the last day of the term we all came in in our costumes and did a catwalk around the school! It was great to see everyone's costumes.
