The Amber Flag organised some lovely activities and workshops for Friendship Week. The girls enjoyed different activities such as Mindful Monday and Thankful Tuesday. We spent time picking different greetings as you enter the room and it made everyone start the day with a big smile. The senior classes also paired up with a junior class to do some activities and it was so lovely to hear all the laughing and chatter in the classrooms. Third class had lots of discussions on how to show kindness and how to be a good friend and the girls worked hard at creating gorgeous work to show both of these 
Everyone had a lovely day today in the Cosy Cafe. A day to relax with a book is highly recommended. "She read books as one would breathe air, to fill up and live." Thanks again to Lynchs Centra for the supplies to make today happen.
The Amber Flag Committee organised a fun run for the school. We had a lot of fun and rosy cheeks after it. Thank you to everyone who sponsored so generously to the Santa Dash. The money raised will go far for both the school and Marymount and we are very grateful for all the contributions.
We are very excited to launch this years Santa Dash. Our fantastic Amber Flag committee are busy organising training and fundraising again. Last year was an amazing success thanks to your support and we hope to do the same again this year. We recently presented our check of €3,000 to Marymount and the remainder of the money raised went on PM+ and Big Cat Readers, to which we are still investing in. This year we are delighted to announce that we are fundraising for Barnardos and i-pads for the school. Barnardos is such an amazing charity that work with children and families and is again close to our hearts here in Scoil Bhride. Stay tuned to see how our training is going.
